Enginesus Shipping Policy
Shipping Engines and Transmissions
Engines and Transmissions are shipped by Common Carrier (truck) on pallets, and secured with bands and shrink wrap.
Shipping charges are based on delivery to a business address (not a home business) that can off load your engine or Transmission.
4 Cylinder Engines ship for $190, while 6 Cylinder Engines ship for $235. Shipping is to anywhere in the lower 48 states. You can also do what is called a Dock or Terminal Pick Up for the same cost.
When heavy freight is shipped, it goes to the Destination Terminal, and then from there it is delivered to the final destination. You can save the extra charges for Residential Delivery and Liftgate charges by picking up your freight at the Destination Terminal.
The day after your Engine or Transmission is shipped, you will receive a tracking email. Transit times are estimated and can be affected by weather and other uncontrollable factors. When the engine or transmission is delivered, the customer is responsible for checking the unit for shipping damage and missing items while the truck driver is still there. Enginesus is not responsible for shipping damage. You must be able to offload the engine from the truck. If you are not able to offload the engine from the truck you can order a truck with a lift gate for an additional fee. If the truck that shows up has a liftgate that you did not order, do not let the driver use the liftgate. Using a liftgate results in additional shipping charges. Make sure that the document that the driver gives you to sign does not authorize use of a liftgate or you will be liable for the liftgate fee. If you purchased an engine that requires a core return, please let us know when your old engine core is ready for pick up and we will arrange to have it picked up. Your old engine core must be drained of all fluids and securely strapped to a shipping pallet prior to pick up.
